Privacy Policy
Scope
This policy describes InfraUtil at infrautil.com. InfraUtil is the service name used for privacy enquiries. You can contact us through the Contact page.
Tool input
CIDR calculations, text comparisons, JSON formatting and timestamp conversions run in your browser. Their input and file contents are not sent to our application server or saved by these tools. MCC/MNC searches use a downloaded public register.
IP lookup
Opening IP Lookup requests your public IPv4 from ipify, which receives your connection IP. The IP to be looked up is then sent to InfraUtil’s server and checked against locally read IPLocate databases. The application does not send each lookup to IPLocate. Manual IP input is also supported.
Hosting and security
AWS delivers the website and lookup service. Requests necessarily expose connection information such as IP addresses; hosting or security logs may include time, requested URL (including a queried IP), browser information and errors, depending on enabled infrastructure logging. Such information is used to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the service.
Browser storage and advertising
The current application stores a language preference in localStorage. You can remove it through your browser settings. The current application does not include analytics trackers or active advertising scripts. Advertising placeholders do not load ads. If advertising or analytics is introduced, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated before activation.
Contact messages and retention
If you email us, your address and message are processed by our email provider to respond to the enquiry. Avoid sending secrets or sensitive documents. We retain information only as needed for the enquiry, service security, troubleshooting or applicable legal obligations; this policy does not promise a fixed deletion schedule for infrastructure or email providers.
Providers and your choices
Hosting and email providers may process information in the locations where they operate. External links follow their own privacy policies. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal information. Use Contact for requests; we may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the relevant privacy authority.

Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. This notice describes the current application and must be reviewed when its data practices change.
